Veteran sign language interpreter Alan R. Abarbanell is coming to San Diego! Sign up for his hilarious, provocative, and educational workshop, “Interpreting’s Most Outrageous Moments: An Ethical Study,” and earn .3 RID CEUs. Abarbanell, also known as Abababa, has lectured nationally on the issues of interpreter ethics and coda family issues. He is a proud coda (Child of Deaf Adults) and a member of CODA International.
