Gener de Vera

Visual Designer

Gener de Vera received his B.A. degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University, and joined DCS in 2011 as a Graphic Design Intern. One year later, he was promoted to Visual Designer. Gener is not a stranger to DCS. He volunteered as a Literacy Program tutor and at the front desk before he got hired.

Gener enjoys being a cartoonist and is passionate about drawing. His favorite work for DCS is the Carnivale5 and Vaudeville5 poster.

Going beyond graphic arts, Gener has learned Motion, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro to create videos that can be seen on the DCS website. He’s excited about the opportunity to learn new skills in an entirely different field.

To stay healthy and positive, Gener likes to work out and engage in sports, yoga, kenpo, cardio, core synergistics, and plyometrics.
