Hi! My name is Cheryl Small. I am currently an intern from Gallaudet University working with the Mental Health Counseling department here at DCS.

I’m pleased to announce that we are having our Deaf Parenting Class here at DCS starting on Thursday Feb 5th. It will be on every Thursdays from 10am to 11: 30am. The topics covered in class will be on Nutrition/Health for children, safety issues, domestic violence and its effects on children, multicultural issues, IEP, school-related issues, drug and alcohol, normal and abnormal behaviors in children, disciplinary approaches, and many more! It’s for an hour and half on every Thursdays for parents. If interested, please contact us via email, as posted on website or sign up at the front desk at DCS right away! Thanks.
